Happy International Translation Day! Yes, September 30th is International Translation Day, a day when people all over the world celebrate translation in all its glory. A quick look on Wikipedia reveals that this has been going on since 1953 and always falls on the 30th September┬áthe day of the feast of St. Jerome, the Bible translator who is considered the patron saint of translators.
